Shay speaking to Shoot about Newcastle's Champions League chances says:
"We are not out of it yet. Obviously we started the first stage really poorly and we have done the same thing at this stage.
We have made it really hard for ourselves again. But we lost the first three games in the first stage and no-one gave us a chance so we still have an outside chance of getting through."
"It is going to be really difficult because the quality of the teams is that much better. Your are into the last 16 of the best teams in Europe so it is always going to be tough but we still have high spirits for the Champions League."
The Republic of Ireland No.1 likes nothing better than a big stage to play on and admits that games don't come much bigger that those against the likes of Barca and Inter.
"We have played at the Nou Camp already, which was a great experience, and we are going to the San Siro. You see those stadiums and think 'I wish I could play there' so it is like a dream come true really."
