I could only watch the first-half and thought Villa were going to cause an upset after 2 well-taken goals, but of course Arsenal weren’t going to lie down and concede on their own turf. Giving away 2 penalties though was the ‘killer-blow’.

Shay back to life and down to business

“It was a long six-weeks”, was what Shay could think of when asked after his return to the Premiership. He also thanked the medical staff for putting up with him as he says he’s not a very ‘good patient’. Welcome back Shay. Well done as well to Guzan in goals for 7 games and didn’t seem to put a foot wrong.
Shay played first-class against Everton at the weekend and you could argue that he won them the point with some top-stops especially stopping an OG as well.
