“I understand the players that want to play!” Manchini
posted @ 15:52 in [ Manchester City ]

Manchini fully understands the frustration of players wanting to play and not playing. “I behaved the same way when I was a player!, it’s only natural that a player wants to play!“. posted @ 16:05 in [ Manchester City ]

According to Manchester City’s main man Manchini, Shay will have his first game this season against West Brom if his toe has healed enough to play. I think it’s a good move by all concerned to give Shay matches. What do you think?

Manchini will release Shay if he wants to go in January
posted @ 11:53 in [ Manchester City ]

Manchester City manager Mancini  has now come out and said about Shay: “He must wait until January – but he can decide. If he wants to leave I respect his decision because he is a fantastic man and a fantastic goalkeeper, I told him that in the summer as well. For a goalkeeper it is a particular situation. I can’t play two keepers. Joe Hart plays at the moment.” What are your thoughts on this one?

It can’t be easy!
posted @ 09:40 in [ Manchester City ]

I haven’t spoken to Shay about it, but I can imagine a little of what he must be going through. Thanks to all the fans who’ve written in their support for Shay at this time. I texted Shay recently saying that in football you never know though what’s going to happen tomorrow, or in the next game and you have to be ready to take any chance offered to come right back in as if you never left off. I can assure you that when the time comes, Shay will be ready and at the top of his game.
