Who would’ve put money on City putting 4 goals against Chelsea at the Bridge. What an amazing 3 points, although some will argue that Chelsea lost the plot in the second-half, having 2 players sent off. We don’t mind though. “Rock on City!”

Man City keep clean sheet but don’t get the valuable 3 points

It seems that a draw was a “fair result” but I know that Shay and City supporters will have hoped for 3 points to push themselves into the valuable Champions League spot, etc. The comfort for it all though is that no goals were conceded. Clean sheets are rare in the Premiership but Shay will be happy with that albeit not with the result.

Patrick Viera surprised with Shay… :-)

Patrick Viera was interviewed by Man City recently and asked about his team-mates and if there’s been any surprises, etc. and he commented that some players who he thought were very quiet aren’t and that surprised him and when asked who, he responded emphatically with “Shay Given”. Haha, we had to laugh here as Shay is quite a character both on and off the pitch.
