There’s a glowing tribute to Shay on fanhouse.co.uk from Ian Edwards. He gives Shay a 10 out of 10 for his current form and consistency and compares Shay with all the other stoppers in the Premiership, even suggesting that it’s a pity Shay isn’t English and also that it’s a pity he doesn’t get to go to South Africa to show that he truely is one of the World’s best. Shay is ‘man of the match’ against Chelsea!

Sky Sports and The Sun put down Shay as ‘Man of the Match’ against Chelsea! Well done Shay! The penalty save kept the 3 points with City and broke the run of draws City were having. Now it’s going to be the challenge to go and beat “lesser” teams and push up the table, as this could be their year like any other club. Why not? Consistency against the lesser teams will be key.

Arsenal are set to field a young side as usual tonight in the Carling Cup quarter-final, but everyone at Man City will know that Cup ties can be funny games and you never know what might happen? You fancy City though going through having previously beaten a ‘full-strength’ Arsenal team already at Eastlands, but this is footfall folks? What do you think?
