Ireland have the pleasure of hosting former World Cup winners France on the 14th of November in Dublin for the first leg of the play-offs. It never was going to be easy with Italy in the group but facing the challenge of two recent World Cup winners in the fight for South-Africa is quite a challenge for the men in green but they’ve never wanted to do things the easy way and I’m sure France will know it’s no picnic picking up points against Ireland especially when South-Africa is at stake.

Folks are saying that it was the best night so far in Croke Park for Irish soccer and to have lost the vital 2 points in the end must’ve felt like a loss in the dressing room. So close, but still there’s all to play for yet and nobody’s going to want to have the face the fighting Irish after that performance.
