You get the feeling with the arrival of Tevez from Man Utd. that Man City haven’t finished spending yet. It could be quite a Summer still. To say that they’ve strengthened the strike-force would be an understatement but I personally would like to see players like John Terry’s calibre coming to the club to tighten up the defence, etc.
It’s hard to know though where you can find players of Terry’s ability and commitment without putting in a bid for the man himself. If you listen to the Irish papers, they seem to be saying that Terry wants to talk with Man City about coming there, so it’s hard to know what will happen still.
I’d love to see at least 2-3 defenders come in and 1-2 midfielders still as well, so that City could start the season with a bang and really get their focus on blending the squad into a force to be reckoned with even this season.
What do you think? Are you happy enough with where things are now or what do you feel needs to happen still for City to secure their top 7 finish next season at least?
