It’s one of the areas that have to be strengthened before the season kicks off but who would’ve thought that City could tempt Chelsea’s John Terry out of London?
Apparently the first bid of 30million has been turned down with Chelsea keen to hold on to their Captain and perhaps not willing to part with him until a bid of even huger proportions has been reached. He sure would be quite a player coming to Man City and it is players of his calibre that you need to chase titles and Championships. We’ll be following it with keen interest over the next few weeks.
The papers are saying that Richard Dunne is almost on his was to Sunderland providing that Man City can bring in the guns to replace him at centre back. Whether that’s true or not, we’ll see but I do envisage some big names coming to City to strengthen the back four with the forward line well and truly strengthened over this Summer.
I’m sure we’ll also see some midfielder coming in as well but currently the focus seems to be on getting the back-four top-class, etc. so it’ll be an eventful summer.
