I think it was a hugely improved City perforance compared with the non-show at Portsmouth two weeks earlier. It looked like City might pull all three points but Liverpool salvaged an equaliser and even tried of course for all three points at the end. It was a well-deserved point but could easily have been all three. You kind of wonder how much Liverpool actually depend on Stevie Gerrard? It seems they’re a bit lost without him as he’s a player that’s able to grab any game by the scruff of the neck and make it happen. If strikers aren’t scoring goals, he goes up and does it himself, so I do think he is a HUGE loss to Liverpool’s title claim.
