It was DEFINITELY a “day to forget” to start with a cliché. I was at the game and I seriously thought “what are these guys doing?”. There seemed to be zero appetite to put
Portsmouth out of their Premiership misery and the inevitable happened in the second-half with Portsmouth getting a sweet victory over timid and toothless Man City. I pitied the poor Man City away support who had nothing to cheer about except a second-half bullet header which James did brilliantly to get away. Let’s hope that the ‘sports psychologists at Man City can restore motivation to the squad before their UEFA game mid-week.

Are you saying Shay has gone from one crap team to another? I think that is the case! City are a mess, they are a bunch of disjointed prima donnas with a manager seriously out of his depth – I personally think he won’t be there next season! They’re in a perilous positon – they can either go with what they’ve got and try and get it to work or they can do a Chelsea and try and buy success (which dosn’t always work!) The financial steamroller is waiting ’round the corner, methinks! I wish Shay could have gone to somewhere like Arsenal or Man Utd, one of the ‘proper’ top clubs! C’est la vie!
