It was always going to be interesting to see the events of a local derby unravel, but there didn’t seem to be too much spark around this one. Shay did his bit as did the whole defence to keep Middlesbrough at bay and deservedly got a point although 3 points are always sweeter. If we get one point from every game from now till the end, we should stay up, although nobody at Newcastle wants that kind of season. Let’s get a run of wins and push for the top half of the table… easier said than done, but on the back of 2 clean sheets, there must be goals to be had soon!
