On
a night on which Craig Bellamy said "I don't think
I've played in such a tough game in my life", shows
you the strength of a Newcastle team seasoned from last
years Champions League endevours. Shay had a great game,
not too much to do but when called upon...top class.

Shay expects tough game
Just
getting off the phone from Newcastle's hotel in Belgrade,
Shay sounded upbeat and optimistic about Newcastle getting
the right result, "We've slept well, we've done the
hard work and are looking forward to the game and most
importantly getting the right result." he said as
he awoke to get his evening meal before the game. Shay

Belgrade challenge for the Magpies
Shay and Newcastle are up against 30,000 fanatical Partizan
fans tonight but it won't match the madness that Shay's
already had inTehran Iran for the Republic of Ireland
World Cup play-off in 2002.
"85,000 Iranians spent the whole game going mental
and throwing things like rocks, tomatoes and oranges at
us generally, and at me in particular." said Shay
